The Account Executive is responsible for sales-related functions and selling the ideas of the season to account with multiple channels of distribution, securing orders and managing the business to achieve both sales plans and profitability goals of the division. This role will report directly to the Director of Sales.

Qualifications:

  • Responsible for articulating and selling the ideas and visions of the season to secure orders that support the division’s sales plans
  • Maintain and grow the business by managing a sound financial plan in partnership with planning counterpart
  • Develop and maintain a strong working partnership with buying counterparts based on mutual respect, common business goals, maintaining of brand integrity and maximizing of opportunities
  • Track and react to weekly business, capitalize on additional business and sales opportunities by recognizing class trends and slow sellers
  • Review product assortment misses, review merchandising and give accounts suggestions on how to capitalize on classification selling
  • Analyze weekly/monthly sales by door.  React to and capitalize on by door trends and sales opportunities
  • Review the competition in the same selling area through store visits
  • Partner with merchandising on seasonal assortments to maximize product opportunities and trends
  • Responsible for pre and post market processes, including internal class and big item meetings, all market related communication related to buy including but not limited to providing line lists, NuOrder and affinity needs, assortment rollups and hatch/fashion cloud assortments
  • Work closely with Merchandise Operations to deliver the market buy within the agreed timeline
  • Review/enter orders and partner closely with Merchandise Operations for accuracy and deadline adherence 
  • Manage timeliness of confirmations and tracking of monthly shipments in partnership with Sales Operations
  • Monitor and report monthly ship projections to ensure we are tracking to quarterly targets and annual forecasts
  • Utilize the coordinator field team to help drive sales through communication of strategies
  • Meet with visual team on a regular basis to explain initiatives, sales strategies and visual directives
  • Manage marketing requests, deadlines and opportunities in tandem with MCOM Vendor Specialist and TH Marketing team while adhering to contractual agreements
  • Take an active part in all Macy’s product meetings: Strategy session, Color & Concept and Cad/Proto review
  • Manage accounts’ needs as related to samples for style outs, strategy meetings, and marketing needs
  • Travel to account store locations (branching) to ensure execution of product on floor is correct and manage any location/visual issues

Qualifications:

  • College degree
  • 3 to 5 years of wholesale experience

  • Knowledge of retail math

  • Ability to travel

  • Excellent communication skills

  • MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and MS Outlook

  • 7th Online/NuOrder

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Business acumen and creativity

  • Strong organizational skills, including ability to prioritize

  • Professional demeanor and proactive approach

  • Ability to interface with all levels within the organization

  • Strong work ethic

  • Enthusiasm for product

  • Ability to think and act independently but receptive to taking direction from multiple people

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks/projects with adherence to deadlines
  • Detail oriented
  • Must be someone who sees the value in working as part of a team

Pay Range:$80,150---$113,700

PVH currently provides base salary ranges for all positions-on job advertisements-in the United States based on local requirements. These ranges are based on what PVH reasonably believes that it will pay an associate for their base salary for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors including but-not limited to qualifications, geographic location and other relevant skills. Additional Compensation: This role is bonus eligible.
