Job Summary:

The Account Executive is a hunter, based in Jakarta, working on new logo acquisition, identifying the right opportunities to solve customer business problems with Aerospike’s path breaking technology. The sales team is looking for an aggressive Account Executive who is comfortable with Solution Selling. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Run the territory as a franchise by putting in place Sales Plans and Partnership strategies 
  • Proactively prospect, identify, qualify and develop new logo sales pipeline 
  • Able to manage existing accounts and expand the revenue stream by upselling/cross-selling
  • Close business to meet and exceed quarterly and annual bookings objectives 
  • Build strong and effective customer relationships, resulting in growth opportunities 
  • Maintain comprehensive understanding of the Aerospike value proposition and most recent capabilities 
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Effectively leverage internal resources to help maintain a high level of customer engagement while qualifying opportunities effectively 
  • Provide timely and actionable insights back into the broader organization including Sales Leadership, Field Sales, Product Management and Marketing 
  • Maintain an accurate forecast and opportunity management within salesforce.com 
  • Comfortable managing many accounts

Prerequisites: 

  • Experience closing complex sales cycles with multiple approval levels 
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with experience interacting with the business, technical and procurement sides of large organizations. 
  • Extensive understanding of the Digital Native Segment, Financial Services or Telecom sector 
  • Solutions sales mentality 
  • Strong organizational skills 
  • Comfortable interacting with the C-Suite and articulate the business value
  • Strong forecast accuracy 
  • Ability to thrive in a high growth, rapidly changing environment 
  • Salesforce.com experience preferred or equivalent systems experience 
  • Self-motivated, able to work independently as well as contribute to a team 
  • Ability to multi-task and to quickly change pace on a moment’s notice 
  • High level of accountability; willing to take ownership and solve problems 
  • Strong communicator; places a high value on customer service 
  • Team player who understands that success rests on helping others to be successful.

Qualifications: 

  • 5-10 years in a hunting sales role in Jakarta, with consistent above-target performance
  • Experience Selling Databases or any Data Platform 
  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's degree 
  • Experience driving technology adoption with customers 
  • Fluent in current technology sales for software and/or cloud 
  • Experience in working with local partners in Jakarta – distributors, systems integrators and ISVs
  • Must be fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
