Account Executive

ICF Next E&A brings together strategy, creativity, content, and outreach to deliver meaningful communication campaigns and events for the European market and beyond.

The role supports the successful delivery and growth of Framework Contracts (FWCs) and client accounts by ensuring strategic alignment, operational excellence, and strong client engagement. The position works closely with account leadership, specialist teams, and internal services to deliver coherent, high-quality projects while supporting business development and financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure alignment of specialist teams, services, and deliverables with overall project and account strategies.

  • Provide internal and external coherence, vision, and consistency across projects and client engagements.

  • Support the organization and execution of projects from inception through delivery and closure.

  • Assist in budget management, including preparation, revisions, and reallocations, while maintaining a solution-oriented mindset at all times.

  • Support Account Teams in activating, nurturing, and engaging clients across a defined number of FWCs, in line with agreed financial plans and KPIs.

  • Contribute to the development of FWC activation plans and actively participate in sales and client meetings.

  • Represent the organization at client, industry, and networking events, engaging strategically and commercially with stakeholders.

  • Support new business development activities by providing strategic input and contributing proactively to tender narratives and proposals.

  • Ensure correct financial, contractual, and operational management of assigned FWCs or accounts, in close collaboration with the Account Director and/or Head of Ads.

  • Work closely with Heads of Services, Expert Team Leaders, and corporate support teams (e.g. Recruitment, Finance, CBS) throughout the offer and delivery process.

  • Foster a strong team spirit, promoting professionalism, collaboration, and a curious, proactive attitude.

  • Ensure regular and accurate reporting on client status, FWCs performance, and project progress.

  • Provide structured and timely reporting to the Head of Ads.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in a creative, artistic, or communication environment, preferably within an agency or consultancy setting.

  • Excellent organizational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Strong project and time management capabilities, including coordination of cross-functional teams.

  • Proven ability to generate, structure, and present idea-driven activities and strategic concepts.

  • High level of professionalism, communication skills, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one additional EU language.
