Account Executive - Hospitality

Lightspeed is looking for an Account Executive to join our Hospitality sales team. Ideally, you will be based in Toronto or Montreal, where you’ll collaborate closely with your teammates in a flexible hybrid environment.

In this role, you will help restaurants across North America discover how Lightspeed can power and grow their business.

You’ll work primarily with qualified inbound leads, running product demonstrations, understanding the operational needs of restaurant owners, and guiding prospects through the full sales process.

This is an excellent opportunity for a SaaS Account Executive who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, running demos, and helping customers adopt technology that improves their business.

What you’ll be doing

  • Manage and follow up with qualified inbound leads generated by our marketing and SDR teams
  • Run product demonstrations via video calls and screen sharing for prospective restaurant customers
  • Understand the operational needs of restaurant owners and recommend the right Lightspeed solution
  • Guide prospects through the full sales cycle from demo to close
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to coordinate demos and opportunities
  • Work with internal stakeholders on pricing and deal structuring when required
  • Maintain accurate deal progression and pipeline management in Salesforce
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Support new customers through the initial stages of onboarding and go-live

What you need to bring

  • 2–4 years of sales experience, ideally in SaaS or technology sales
  • Experience running product demonstrations or consultative sales conversations
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities in a high-volume sales environment
  • A proactive mindset with strong ownership and accountability
  • Curiosity and a willingness to continuously learn and improve
  • Excellent written and spoken English

Nice to have

  • Experience selling SaaS or software solutions
  • Experience selling to SMB customers
  • Experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry
  • Familiarity with POS, payments, or business management software
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms

At Lightspeed, we carefully consider a wide range of factors when determining compensation, including your skill set, qualifications, experience, and market data. These considerations can cause your compensation to vary. We reasonably expect the total compensation for this position to be in the range of $90,000-95,000 CAD (including the Variable Part). Lightspeed also provides a variety of employee benefits including, but not limited to, medical, dental, wellness, life and disability insurance, RRSP plan and match, paid parental leave top-up, and paid time off.
