We’re looking for a Consumer Account Director with strong consumer brand PR experience and a passion for creating work that people actually talk about.
You’ll lead day to day activity on one or more key consumer accounts, managing the client relationship, shaping strategy and driving integrated campaigns that span earned media, social, influencer and content. Many of our clients operate across multiple markets, so you’ll be comfortable working with different regions and local teams, even if your role is more UK focused.
Act as the day to day lead across one or more consumer accounts, building trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders
Run client meetings, status calls and planning sessions, ensuring clear actions, follow up and momentum
Understand your clients’ business priorities and market context and ensure all activity ladders up to those goals
Write and refine briefs, messaging, story angles and toolkits, ensuring ideas are insight-driven and culturally relevant
Work closely with creative, strategy, social and production teams to shape and stress test ideas
Oversee content development, from press materials and social copy to influencer briefs and event concepts
Support and coordinate activity across multiple markets or regions when required, ensuring consistency
Provide strategic oversight on media and influencer strategies, ensuring the right mix of channels and partners
Support teams in building and maintaining strong relationships with journalists, creators and partners
Oversee event, activation and partnership activity, ensuring flawless execution and alignment with brand strategy
Line manage and mentor junior team members, giving clear direction and constructive feedback
Create a supportive, inclusive team environment where people feel able to share ideas, challenge and grow
Solid experience in consumer PR / communications, ideally in an agency setting
Proven track record of leading mid–large accounts and being a key client contact
Experience delivering integrated campaigns that span PR, social, influencer and content
Strong understanding of media landscapes and consumer trends and how to turn these into smart, earned first ideas
Excellent writing and storytelling skills across formats (decks, press materials, briefs, POVs).
