JOB TITLE: Account Development Consultant.
SALARY: £48,987pa to £59,870pa plus an extensive benefits package.
LOCATION: Edinburgh or Bristol.
HOURS: 35 hours, full time.
WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of your time, at one of our above hubs.

This is an exciting opportunity to join us as an Account Development Consultant (ADC) in the EBC Mega team responsible for distribution of the Scottish Widows (SW) proposition. You’ll maintain and manage SWs profile across specified advisers, advocating a model of support for existing non-owned schemes and handovers to scheme relationship owners. Additionally, you’ll build rapport, trust, and customer confidence, presenting a professional image of Scottish Widows with Intermediaries.
What you will be doing:
Developing and implementing multi-level contact strategies across specified Adviser firms, supporting their consultant apparatus.
Maintaining a profile and owning team level interaction and communications with these relationships.
Optimising your profile with Advisers and owning team level interactions to develop and build a wider programme of communication between these relationships.
Distributing communications and updates to adviser firms, proactively promoting and engaging on specified topics to drive efficient methods of interactions and support.
Collaborating with distribution and operations colleagues to deliver a cohesive service to advisers.
Supporting new business teams with pipeline management.
Handover scheme restructure/ price review requests to the Relationship Management team.
Improving adviser satisfaction survey results, NPS.
Ensuring there is a consistent and quality response.
Leveraging support from stakeholders across operations, propositions, and intermediary/distribution teams where applicable.
Supporting activities that deliver growth of new schemes.
About you
A thorough understanding of legislative and regulatory changes within the industry and using this to engage prospective clients
A sound understanding of the competition and their proposition within this market.
You’ll clearly communicate the Scottish Widows Workplace proposition to prospective clients.
Keep up to date with industry news and regulatory changes.
