Strategy and Planning
Strategic Planning: develops 3-5yr network outlook and tech strategy planning for IP, Optics, MW, LEOSAT, and OSP transport tech for the benefit of current and upcoming services and capabilities.
New Tech, POCs, and Guidelines: enrich existing solutions playbook and guidelines by developing and adopting innovative solutions / new technologies to improve service or cost.
Capex and MDB management: owns overall transport and OSP domain capex / MDB, and issues POs for the site nominations from territories, optimization, and performance teams. Actively drives cost transformation, minimizes VOs, and ensures acceptable levels of available domain inventory. Main interface with biz and network driven MDB.
Capacity Planning: analyzes demand forecast and conducts trending analysis on the IPRAN, MW, ADWDM, and OSP network to manage overall network capacity for existing and upcoming services.
