Those in tax compliance at PwC will focus on validating clients' compliance with tax laws and regulations. You will review and analyse financial data, prepare and file tax returns, and assist businesses in meeting their tax obligations while minimising risks of non-compliance.

The Opportunity  

When you join PwC Acceleration Centers (ACs), you step into a pivotal role focused on actively  supporting various Acceleration Center services, from Advisory to Assurance, Tax and Business  Services. In our innovative hubs, you’ll engage in challenging projects and provide distinctive  services to support client engagements through enhanced quality and innovation. You’ll also  participate in dynamic and digitally enabled training that is designed to grow your technical and professional skills. 

 

At AC MX, we are looking for an ideal candidate to lead our Tax Practice supporting US clients, primarily within Corporate Tax, Financial Services, and Tax Technology Organization (TIDE- Technology Innovation Delivery Excellence). As the leader of the Tax Services team, you will lead the strategic direction and operations of the Tax practice in Mexico. As a director, you will drive business growth, oversee multiple projects, and maintain significant executive-level client relations while fostering an inclusive environment that nurtures talent and promotes continuous learning. 

 
The leader will be responsible for strengthening the culture of openness, inclusivity and belonging; upskilling and enhancing the practice value proposition, and act as an internal champion to deepen the cultural awareness while collaborating with PwC offices around the world. 

 

Responsibilities 

  • Lead the strategic direction and operations of the Tax practice in Mexico

What You Must Have 

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, communication or business related major 
  • 12 years of business experience with leading teams 
  • Oral and written proficiency in English required
