This position works out of our Cincinnati, OH location in the Nutrition Division. Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow to keeping adult bodies strong and active. What You’ll Work On
Business Ownership:
Holds full P&L accountability for the Kroger business, with responsibility for Net Sales, Trade ROI, and Profit Delivery.
Leads the development and execution of Joint Business Plans with Kroger, aligning financial commitments, distribution, pricing, and promotional strategies.
Team Leadership & Development:
Inspires, coaches, and develops a high-performing sales team, building bench strength and succession readiness. Reporting responsibility is five direct reports, including Account Managers, Category Manager and an Analyst.
Fosters a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Customer Leadership:
Builds and sustains senior-level relationships with Kroger across all relevant parts of the business.
Positions Abbott Nutrition as a category growth partner by championing innovation, shaping assortment and shelf strategies, and delivering insights that drive category expansion.
Digital & Omni-channel Acceleration:
Leads Abbott Nutrition’s omni-channel strategy with Kroger, including KPM retail media, Kroger.com, and in-store activation, ensuring seamless integration across the shopper journey.
Leverages best-in-class digital commerce practices to deliver incremental traffic, conversion, and share growth.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Orchestrates cross-functional teams across Sales Strategy, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and Shopper Insights to deliver flawless execution against joint business objectives.
Partners with key internal stakeholders and cross-functional partners to deliver forecast accuracy commitments and supply chain excellence.
Data & Insights:
Utilizes 84.51 Stratum, Nielsen/Circana syndicated data, and shopper panels to uncover growth opportunities and influence assortment and pricing decisions.
Translates insights into actionable customer strategies and measurable results.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
10+ years of progressive experience in CPG/FMCG sales, with at least 3+ years managing large-scale retail accounts; direct Kroger experience strongly preferred.
Proven track record of P&L ownership, delivering profitable growth, and leading successful Joint Business Plans with major retailers.
Demonstrated expertise in omni-channel commerce, retail media, and data-driven decision-making.
Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing direct reports.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with senior customer stakeholders.

The base pay for this position is
$127,300.00 – $254,700.00In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
