Position Summary

The A2R Analyst reports to the Finance Manager and is responsible for execution of Account‑to‑Report activities with a primary focus on Accounts Receivable subledger operations, period‑end close, reconciliations, adjustments, and reporting. The role ensures accurate, timely, and compliant financial records in line with internal controls and close schedules.

The position operates on a standard shift; however, flexibility is required during period‑end and month‑end close, when working hours may vary to support critical close milestones.

Hybrid work mode with 3 days in office schedule.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Perform end‑to‑end A2R activities related to the Accounts Receivable subledger, including opening and closing of AR periods in line with close calendars.
  • Execute period‑end and month‑end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of assigned tasks.
  • Prepare, process, and post AR adjustments in accordance with accounting policies and approval matrices.
  • Run and monitor AR interface and batch jobs; investigate and resolve interface failures or posting errors.
  • Perform reconciliations between AR subledger and General Ledger; analyze and resolve reconciling items.
  • Support refund processes by maintaining clear communication with relevant stakeholders (e.g. Treasury, AR, Cash Application), ensuring accurate accounting and documentation.
  • Prepare supporting schedules, reports, and commentary for internal management, audits, and Sox/internal control reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and documented A2R procedures.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities within A2R activities and support implementation of standardization and automation initiatives.
  • Collaborate closely with upstream and downstream teams (AR, Cash Application, Credit, Treasury) to ensure end‑to‑end process integrity.
  • Maintain proper documentation of processes, journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an A2R / Record‑to‑Report / GL accounting role, preferably supporting AR subledger activities.
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles related to Accounts Receivable, adjustments, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas, and data analysis.
  • Experience working with ERP systems and financial interfaces; ability to troubleshoot posting and reconciliation issues.
  • Very good written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and ability to work under time pressure during close.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours during month‑end and period‑end close cycles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a shared services or global finance environment.
  • Exposure to audits, internal controls, or Sox‑related activities.
  • Experience with continuous improvement or standardization initiatives within A2R.
