Oversee the training of all direct labor and provide continued training as needed.
Responsible for being a dedicated resource to an assigned functional area supporting the manager and supervisor in all administrative duties.
Develop good working relationships with external customers and vendors. Responsible for daily communications with processing engines and communication of any issues, cancellations, or extensions obtained.
Assist in problem resolution and research issues.
Prepare and maintain all required daily reports for the operational areas assigned.
Communicate and partner with other functional areas on intersecting activities.
Track utilization of supplies and prepare orders as necessary to maintain proper levels of inventory.
Aid supervisor and manager in preparing for shift transitions.
Manage Outbound Functions
Responsible for scheduling customer orders to ship within defined SLA.
Responsible for the specific and changing requirements of each account, following customer guidelines to stay in compliance and creating new SCAC codes as needed.
Responsible for the timely reporting/delivery of accurate data daily and end of month reporting.
Responsible for opening and closing loads, daily routing of purchase orders, and printing all required paperwork and maintaining accurate tracking information.
Accountable for orders from printed status to shipping status.
Maintain optimal workflow and safety of assigned area.
Align daily needs with the flow of the building each day, ensuring all loads have been shipped
Working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of hand (RF) scanners and experience using WMOS
Use mechanized equipment as needed
Skilled at multi-tasking and able to react quickly to frequent priority shifts
Proficient communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and through email.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong Analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Working in other areas as requested
Ability to work a flexible schedule while maintaining a good attendance record.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Use general office equipment to include computer, printer, copier, telephone and calculator
Must be able to lift cases weighing up to fifty pounds.
Must be able to stand and work for long periods of time during shift including daily overtime as needed.
Must be available to work consecutive days in a row during peak season.
Comply with blackout periods as determined by Management.
Holiday schedule to be decided by Management based upon forecast
