Role Overview
As the 4P Strategy & Growth Initiative Manager for the Greater Asia (GA) Commercial PC Category, you will be the architect of our long-term competitive edge. You will orchestrate high-impact strategies across Product, Price, Place, and Promotion to accelerate market share and profitability. This role is a blend of visionary planning and rigorous execution, requiring you to bridge regional aspirations with country-level reality.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Growth Projects
- 3-Year Vision: Define the 3-year growth aspiration for the GA Commercial PC business, ensuring a clear roadmap for market leadership.
- OGSM Framework: Partner with key countries to align business goals and convert them into actionable Objectives, Goals, Strategies, and Metrics (OGSM) to ensure disciplined tracking of progress.
- High-Value Segments: Identify and spearhead growth engines across the region, specifically targeting Premium, Super Premium, and Next-Gen AI (NGAI) PC categories.
2. Segment-Focused Initiatives
- Enterprise and SMB: Develop a clear 4P execution framework across stakeholders to support business objectives including revenue, margin and share across Enterprise, and SMB .
- Support Collaborative with regional and country teams to implement a RAD (Retention, Acquisition, Development) approach to maximize wallet share within top-tier Enterprise accounts.
- Design and deploy strategic programs for top SMB partners and tailor value propositions for the Public Sector to ensure HP remains the preferred vendor.
- Public Sector : Work across regional sales and product teams on a long-term view for public sector business, capturing key opportunities. Work with key stakeholders to ensure HP is best positioned in these opportunities. Work with product teams to develop long term product solutions providing HP a competitive edge.
- HP Store: Work closely with HP Store to drive a clear B2B product portfolio and pricing strategy in key countries, supporting HP Store run initiatives and ensuring broader channel and enterprise initiatives are leveraged well by HP store.
3. Alliance Engagement & Strategic Partnerships
- Partner Alignment: Lead commercial strategy engagement with Tier-1 partners, including Intel, AMD, Qualcomm, Microsoft, and Google, ensuring HP’s roadmap aligns with their key priorities.
- Business Mix Optimization: Strategically manage the product mix to deliver on alliance partner objectives while maximizing alliance funding and rebate funding for HP.
- Key Projects: Driving strategically aligned projects with top alliance partners.
Requirements
- Experience: 8–10 years in Product Management, Business Development, or Category Management within the IT/Technology sector.
- Complexity Management: Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fluid, fast-paced environment.
- Analytical Rigor: Strong financial acumen with the ability to translate complex data into executive-level insights.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional presentation and relationship-management skills; a "diplomat" who can influence without direct authority across diverse cultures in Asia.
- Storytelling: Strong spoken and digital presentation skills with ability to distil complex business plans into an inspiring, easy to understand and clear narrative.
