Evergreen Innovation Group, part of the DPR Family of Companies, seeking for a motivated and skilled 4-Wheel Drive Forklift Operator to operate heavy-duty forklifts in challenging terrain, including warehouses, construction sites, and outdoor storage areas. This role requires the ability to handle materials in varied conditions, maintain safety standards, and support efficient material flow.
Key Responsibilities
Operate 4-wheel drive forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials between receiving, storage, production, and shipping areas.
Move raw materials to workstations and return finished goods to staging areas.
Secure loads, verify pallet stability, and ensure proper wrapping/shrink-wrapping before movement.
Use pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment as needed.
Inspect forklifts for safety and maintenance needs, report defects promptly.
Load and unload goods from trucks and trailers; position pallets safely in assigned bays.
Maintain clean, organized aisles and work areas; remove hazards immediately.
Follow OSHA and always company safety guidelines.
Assist with inventory control, put-away, picking, packing, and order staging.
Perform basic forklift maintenance (battery, fuel, fluid checks) and document issues.
Required Skills and Abilities
Valid forklift operation certificate (OSHA-compliant or equivalent).
Experience operating 4-wheel drive forklifts in industrial or outdoor environments.
Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail, and physical stamina.
Ability to work in varied weather and terrain conditions.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Must be located in Atlanta, GA or surrounding areas.
Education and Experience
Experience in construction, yard, or manufacturing material handling.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends or overtime when needed.
OSHA 10 (Prefer)
Physical Requirements
Indoor and outdoor facilities, including uneven or off-road surfaces.
Exposure to heavy equipment, lifting, and potential for hazardous materials.
Requires standing, walking, and bending for extended periods
