Summary:
This position is responsible for maintaining the overall physical security of the facility through both stationary and mobile assignments. The role involves monitoring and controlling access to the site by inspecting individuals and vehicles entering or exiting, as well as accurately logging truck traffic. Responsibilities also include writing reports, conducting preliminary investigations, and operating communication systems such as switchboards, two-way radios, and intercoms. Candidates must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify identification of all visitors, vendors, contractors, and team members to ensure only authorized personnel enter the facility
Inspect all personal items brought into the facility, including bags, toolboxes, briefcases, and lunch containers
Conduct routine patrols throughout the facility to monitor and maintain security
Record and track all truck traffic entering and exiting the site, including vehicle inspections
Complete detailed reports and documentation of incidents and daily activities
Assist with preliminary investigations involving accidents, theft, workplace incidents, or other security concerns
Utilize communication equipment such as radios, intercom systems, and switchboards to support daily operations
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred not required
Experience: Bilingual is preferred but not necessary. +3 months experience preferred but not necessary.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills
Communication Skills: Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills and be able to effectively communicate under stressful situations.
