Job Description
ummary:
We're looking for a versatile creative who can both build and finish — animating high-quality 3D content in Unreal Engine and taking projects all the way through post-production as a skilled video editor. You'll own the full pipeline from real-time scene creation to final cut, producing marketing videos and brand content that's polished at every stage.
Responsibilities:
Design and animate high-quality 3D sequences in Unreal Engine 5 for marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand storytelling.
Build and maintain real-time scene environments, lighting setups, and post-processing pipelines optimized for marketing deliverables.
Develop and animate 3D assets, motion graphics, and product visualizations in Cinema 4D, integrating them into Unreal Engine workflows.
Edit and assemble marketing videos, product reels, social content, and brand films from raw footage and 3D renders through to final delivery.
Handle color grading, audio mixing, and finishing in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve.
Composite 3D renders with live-action footage, motion graphics, and visual effects using After Effects.
Manage media organization, project files, and version control across edit projects.
Work closely with the creative, brand, and marketing teams to translate briefs into compelling visual narratives end-to-end.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, hitting deadlines across both animation and editing workstreams.
Qualifications:
3–5 years of professional experience spanning both 3D animation and video editing, with a portfolio or reel demonstrating both skill sets in marketing or commercial work.
Hands-on proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 — particularly Sequencer, Lumen lighting, and real-time cinematic workflows.
Working knowledge of Cinema 4D for motion graphics, asset creation, and animation, with output integrated into UE5 pipelines.
Proficiency in Redshift rendering within Cinema 4D — including lighting, shading, materials, and optimizing render settings for marketing output
Confident video editing in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve, including color grading and audio finishing.
Proficiency in Photoshop and Adobe After Effects for compositing 3D renders with live-action footage and motion graphics.
Strong sense of visual storytelling, pacing, and camera craft across both 3D and editorial contexts.
Ability to manage projects independently from brief to delivery, juggling multiple deadlines without losing quality.
Other Qualifications:
Experience shooting and directing video, not just editing — comfortable on a small production set.
Knowledge of Houdini, Arnold, or Octane working on and rendering for Cinema 4D projects.
Physical Demands:
Able to work in an office environment (Constant)
Able to carry and move various production equipment and video/photography gear up to 25 lbs. (Occasional)
Required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard (Frequent)
Special Requirements:
U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required.
Ability to travel to demonstrations, events, trade shows, and other activations (up to 15%)
Flexible work schedule and overtime may be required periodically
Preferably located within 50 miles of the Moorpark/Simi Valley offices
