Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Analyze production, allocation, and sales data to identify trends, anomalies, and optimization opportunities.
· Assists in building analytical models, dashboards, and reconciliations to ensure accuracy across production, revenue, and sales volumes.
· Conduct variance analysis, root-cause investigation, and data validation across multiple systems.
· Develop templates, best practice recommendations, and process audits specific to PRA reporting
• Oversee resolution of high-complexity issues related to allocations, DOI setups, ownership changes, suspense, revenue, and or production discrepancies.
• Serve as a resource for difficult valuation, pricing, production volumes, royalty, severance tax, and regulatory reporting issues.
· Use current technology to help modernize PRA operations to improve reliability, increase operational efficiency, and reduce cost.
· Identify inefficiencies in PRA workflows and lead initiatives to streamline processes and enhance controls.
• Assists in PRA system enhancement projects, upgrade projects, and implementations
• Ability to understand complex contract information and configure SAP data accordingly for accuracy in Revenue, Regulatory, & Compliance
• Prepares sales variance analysis and explains major sales fluctuations.
• Performs special projects that require knowledge of oil and gas revenue accounting
• Must be familiar with impact of revenue transactions on profit and loss and balance sheet statements.
• Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional associations.

Qualifications:
• 12+ years minimum experience in oil and gas revenue accounting.
· Expert-level understanding of SAP PRA concepts including allocation methodologies, DOI management, royalty
structures, severance taxes, and regulatory reporting.
• Strong analytical, modeling, and data reconciliation skills.
• Ability to solve problems accurately and exhibit exceptional proficiency in data management, including
spreadsheet proficiency.
• Ability to remain professional, positive, determined and focused when facing challenging situations.
• Ability to make effective presentations to large audiences.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, other
departments, officials, and the public.
• Ability to complete multiple, diverse tasks of differing priorities.
• Outstanding administrative and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with specific ability to translate complex operational information into an organized and presentable manner to peers, leadership, and operations not related to accounting.
• Proficiency in the use and application of the following software: Required: Microsoft Office (Advanced Excel, Word and Outlook). Preferred: Working knowledge of oil and gas accounting systems and/or Power BI skills.
Education Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year university or college with a degree in account, Masters in Accounting and/or CPA (preferred).
