Job Description

The position of Service Center Manager includes the following duties:

• Provide friendly and courteous service to our customers
• Regular, reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Manage the teammates in the service center
• Maintain Money Gram records and compliance tests with teammates


Cashier Duties:

• Answer phone
• Cash Checks
• Process Money Gram transactions
• Process merchandise returns and refunds
• Pick up cash from lane sweeps and conduct cash drawer audits
• Know all aspects of checking and assist with any issues that may arise at check lane

Bookkeeper Duties:

• Settle cash drawers and sets up beginning cash balance
• Generates sales reports for previous business day
• Orders money from cash service; i.e., Brinks to maintain proper cash balance in safe
• Balance safe and generate reports associated with balancing function
• Load lottery vending machines; balance cash from machines with sales reports

Additional responsibilities may include:
• Assist customer service manager to ensure an efficiency with checkout
• Reprint orders


TRAINING

Training will be provided at store level.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Bending
Stooping
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Working on feet entire shift (4-8 hours)

Additional Requirements – Internal Candidates:

  • Store/Facility Teammates: minimum of six months employment with Schnucks preferred.
  • Store Support Center Teammates: minimum of one year employment with Schnucks preferred.
  • Must be in good standing (not on a performance improvement plan or active discipline).
  • If invited for an interview, must have manager approval based on performance.
