What is the Opportunity?

As a member of the Strategic Partnerships and Programs team in Talent Acquisition, the Intern will support on planning, organizing and executing events, programs, and activities to attract potential candidates and build a talent pipeline. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of supporting multiple events and programs simultaneously, with a focus on creativity, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

What will you do?

  • Assist with planning, and executing events, such as career fairs, networking events, and recruitment conferences, that attract top talent and promote our employer brand. This includes, but is not limited to: researching event venues, ordering food and beverage, on-site event support, registration desk & Phenom support, additional logistical details as appropriate for each event
  • Partner with Employer Brand and Recruitment Marketing to assist with creating and managing brand marketing materials, such as videos, social media content, and websites to promote events and programs, both on campus and on social channels
  • Communicate with internal partners and internal and external suppliers in a skilled a professional manner
  • Provide administrative support as it relates but not limited to meeting planning: print projects (name badges, onsite signage, etc), registration building, analyze internal data to inform programming and experiences, support with invoicing, post event survey and expenses where needed
  • Liaise with the different lines of business to collect materials: PPT, videos, etc.  
  • Provides support to the Manager, Senior Manager and/or Director as required

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have:

  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in event planning, program development, or talent acquisition
  • Planning, organizational and implementation skills
  • Communications and writing skills
  • Flexibility, creativity, initiative, teamwork, cooperation & relationship building
  • Microsoft Office; Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Nice-to-haves:

  • Knowledge of the following platforms: Slido, Phenom
  • Virtual platform knowledge, specifically WebEx

Please note: This posting is for a 4-months Summer 2026 Student placement with a start date of May 2026, and end date of August 2026. In order to be eligible for this 4-months Student position, you must either:

  • Be returning back to school after the work term end-date of August 2026 ; or
  • If you are not returning back to school (i.e. are graduating in August 2026), you must require the full 4-months work term as a mandatory component to in order to graduate successfully.
