Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Program Cost and Schedule Control Analyst. This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Elkton, MD.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Defense Systems Business Unit

Roles and Responsibilities:

We are seeking a professional who will develop, maintain, and deliver a monthly Integrated Master Plan and Schedule (IMP/IMS) from inception through project completion, ensuring alignment with IMS objectives. The role involves integrating Work Breakdown Structures, Statements of Work, deliverables, and resources into the master schedule efficiently and on time. The incumbent will support management of the program’s supplier base and internal functional disciplines through the IMS, providing daily monitoring and status updates to the Project Manager for critical‑path tasks. Responsibilities also include inputting Earned Value Management System (EVMS) data and generating required financial control reports, preparing monthly operational review packages, and assisting in the reporting of division performance to executive management. The candidate will investigate any deviations from the plan or unusual results, and will actively participate in, lead, and support schedule reviews and metric reporting as requested by management.

Basic Qualifications: 

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution

  • Be majoring in or having majored in Business, Finance or related fields

  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher

  • Experience with Microsoft Project or Open Plan

  • Proficient in Excel is preferred

  • Experience with data analytics

  • Exposure to data entry

Salary Range: $60,200- $90,200
