The Multidisciplinary Integrated Systems Department (MISD) supports Raytheon by providing world class technical expertise and engineering leadership to drive the design and development of world-class Air and Missile Defense Systems, Sensors, and Effectors. We lead all aspects of Life Cycle Engineering (LCE) that drive the development of complex systems to support Raytheon’s Land and Air Defense Systems business area from our Huntsville, AL location.
Our LCE solve technical challenges at the System of System (SoS), System, Subsystem, and Component levels. Our LCE engineers are responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and delivered on time. Our team consists of multiple disciplines that support engineering, our program offices and our customers. Our LCE disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. Our focus area is product support, including the following disciplines: Reliability, System Safety, and Supportability.
What You Will Do
You will support, contribute, and collaborate in a team environment, receiving inputs from the program or team experts, and work on projects, determining and developing approaches and solutions.
You will provide customer and special project support to Patriot Logistics. The role is responsible for supporting the daily logistics requirements and requests of the Logistics Leads to include database analysis, customer coordination and tasks that are deemed necessary to meet requirements established by Patriot Logistics leads.
Coordinate and analyze databases pertaining to data utilized by the Patriot Missile system.
Develop material as needed for customer meetings and responses
Utilize Microsoft Excel for the development and analysis of databases
Support the daily logistics requirements and requests of Logistics Leads in support of program requirements.
Review contract deliverables to ensure that program meets all contract requirements
Qualifications You Must Have
Must be pursuing a BS or BA degree from an accredited university.
This position is for an intern who is enrolled in a Bachelor’s (or higher) degree program and will be at minimum, entering their Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate standing level by the start of Summer 2026.

Qualifications We Prefer
Specific majors: Aerospace Engineering, Astronautical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or related STEM discipline
Knowledge of data analysis, modeling and simulation, statistics, and various computational techniques for complex multi-variable problems.
Knowledge of STK, MATLAB, or Python

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
