We are looking for Software Engineers to join our Software Engineering team in El Segundo, California, a suburb of Los Angeles. Relocation assistance available provided final candidate meets eligibility requirements.
The Raytheon Software Engineering organization is seeking enthusiastic and highly capable software engineers in programs developing real time embedded software in the Gen 4 Tactical Airborne Radar area. The ideal candidate will employ Raytheon software development processes.
What you will do:
Work on technical problems and provide innovative solutions, with guidance as needed.
Work at all phases of the SW development lifecycle, including SW/HW integration, dependent on program phase
Develop RT embedded SW, specifically pertaining to various radar modes and capabilities
Some investigation and troubleshooting skills to assess issues and develop solutions.
Work with teams across multiple disciplines, internal and external
Join program and customer meetings/reviews
Support the team leads as needed regarding technical decision making, problem resolution.
Help to ensure performance to technical, cost, schedule, quality.
Support of system and software requirements and architecture generation and analysis as needed.
Work Location: Onsite at our El Segundo, CA Campus
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
This position requires 12 months or less of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
Experience developing embedded software utilizing C/C++, ADA, and related tools and applications
Experience integrating real time embedded software
Knowledge in the phases of the software development life-cycle
Knowledge of Software Development Processes
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Hardware / software integration experience
Knowledge and Experience with Radar Technology
Experience with developing and integrating software for Radar systems
Experience with Agile and Continuous Integration methodologies

The salary range for this role is 62,000 USD - 118,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
