Northrop Grumman is seeking a Associate Contract Administrator/Contract Administrator to join its team of qualified, and diverse professionals. This position will be onsite in Woodland Hills, California.


The successful applicant will join Northrop Grumman’s contracts organization and support a range of commercial and government programs, as well as capture and proposal activities. Reporting directly to Contracts Leadership, the incumbent will work daily with business managers, operations managers, capture managers, and other functional teams across the department. The role encompasses all contract phases—from proposal development through contract close‑out—ensuring strong customer satisfaction, sound financial performance, and effective risk mitigation. The ability to build deep customer relationships and foster employee engagement is essential. The candidate must be a self‑starter who collaborates effectively with team members and serves in an advisory capacity to program management and customers. This position also offers the opportunity to become well‑versed in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).

In this role, the selected candidate will have the opportunity to: 

  • Support senior contract administrators on complex work assignments
  • Support proposal preparation, contract negotiation and contract administration activities from proposal through closeout.
  • Administer daily contract activities for a variety of product lines and contract types, including cost reimbursable and firm fixed price; such activities will include establishing payment terms, initiating, and monitoring invoicing, collections, and funding to support financial objectives.
  • Enter and manage data in 1ERP
  • Participate in customer meetings, performing and monitoring compliance to contract requirements and leading change management process.
  • Ensure non-disclosure agreements and contract terms and conditions are negotiated within company guidelines. 

Basic Qualifications Associate Contract Administrator (Level 1):

  • Be completing or has completed their bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Be majoring in or having majored in a Business Degree (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Economics) or a business adjacent degree (Legal Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Risk management, Global Supply Chain etc.)
  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

Basic Qualifications for a Business Management Analyst (Level 2):

  • Be completing or has completed their master’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Be majoring in or having majored in Business Degree (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Economics) or a business adjacent degree (Legal Studies, Mathematics, Statistics, Risk management, Global Supply Chain etc.)
  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

Preferred Qualifications at both levels

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external customers
  • Ability to work independently
  • Ability to learn and utilize various data entry software tools and to adapt with changes to those tools
  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
  • Have prior Business relevant internship or work experience
  • Have existing active U.S. Government security clearance

Associate Business Management Analyst Salary Range:

$ 58,400 -$ 87,600

Business Management Analyst Salary Range:

$70,600 - $105,800
