Position Summary
 
Responsible for managing and supervising all production operations within the Electronics Manufacturing factory, including SMT (Surface Mount Technology), PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assembly), and Final Assembly processes. Ensures that production targets are achieved in terms of output, quality, cost, and delivery. Oversee workforce utilization, material efficiency, and equipment performance to minimize variances and optimize productivity. Leads continuous improvement initiatives to enhance yield, reduce waste, and support organizational goals.
 
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Plan, coordinate, and oversee daily production activities across SMT, PCBA, and Final Assembly lines.
2. Manage production schedules, manpower allocation, and material availability to ensure on-time delivery and high-quality output.
3. Monitor and analyze labor usage variance and material usage variance to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvement.
4. Supervise production teams to ensure adherence to work instructions, ESD controls, and IPC/ISO quality standards.
5. Collaborate with cross functional team Planning, Engineering, Quality, and Warehouse to optimize process flow and minimize downtime.
6. Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance yield, reduce rework, and eliminate waste.
7.  Manage manpower planning, coaching, and performance evaluation for Line Leaders, Operators, and Technicians.
8. Ensure all production processes comply with safety, environmental, and 5S standards.
9. Support NPI (New Product Introduction) activities including line setup, sample build, and process validation.
10. Prepare and analyze production performance reports, KPIs, and variance analyses for management review.
11. Other tasks are duly assigned by General Manager.
 
Supervisory Responsibilities – List Teams/Groups
 
Supervises SMT, PCBA, and Final Assembly production teams, including Line Leaders, Operators, and Technicians. Coordinates with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Material Control departments to ensure efficient production operations.
 
Qualifications - Knowledge & Experience
 
1. Minimum 5–7 years of production management experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
2. Strong understanding of SMT, PCBA, and Final Assembly processes and related equipment (e.g., screen printers, pick-and-place machines, reflow ovens, AOI, ICT, and functional testers, auto screw/ pressing machine, laser machine).
3. Proven ability to analyze and control labor usage variance and material usage variance to optimize cost performance.
4. Hands-on experience with Oracle, ERP, or SAP systems for production planning, material tracking, and reporting.
5. In-depth knowledge of process optimization, yield improvement, and defect reduction methodologies.
6.  Familiarity with IPC-A-610, ISO 9001, and ESD control standards.
7.  Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
8.  Proficiency in English.
 
Education, Licenses & Certification
1. Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
2. Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or IPC standards is preferred.
 
 Work Conditions
1. 48h/week, 8h/day.
2. Work performed primarily on-site in an electronics manufacturing facility.
3. Regular exposure to production floor environments, including SMT lines, soldering operations, and ESD-controlled areas.
4.  May require overtime to meet production targets and delivery schedules.
