About you and this role

Dow offers a full-time Supply Chain Internship for the Summer, providing hands-on experience in a global materials science company.

Responsibilities

• Assessing and/or modelling material and information flows across the supply chain at tactical and/or strategic levels
• Identifying and evaluating trade-offs involving inventory levels, conversion costs, logistics costs, asset utilization, productivity, and customer service
• Designing, optimizing, and leveraging supply chain infrastructure
• Supporting strategy development related to technology implementation, capital investment, postponement, and sourcing options
• Identifying best practices and process improvements (e.g., systems, tools, hardware)
• Assisting in the leadership and integration of complex, cross-functional, multi-area projects
• Developing innovative solutions, methodologies, and service offerings to meet current and future business needs

Qualifications

• Individuals pursuing a Master’s degree in Logistics/Transportation, Supply Chain Management, Engineering (operational/industrial, applied, mechanical, packaging, chemical, or related disciplines), or Business Administration with a relevant concentration and interest in Supply Chain
• Legal authorization to work in India without visa sponsorship or permanent residency support
• Preferred skills include proactive problem solving, strategic planning, process improvement, communication, supply chain planning, data analysis, and leadership
