SUMMARY

Interpretation of instructions from various sources such as assembly drawings, schematics, vendor instructions, service manuals, and chassis manufacturers.  Must apply common sense understanding of electrical wiring to carry out instruction furnished in diagrammatic or written form.  Must possess AC and DC electrical knowledge.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics for various product lines Complete pre-wiring for console in cab Complete pre-wiring for electronics in box Install electronic options in both the cab and box of truck Ability to make and install timer board in the box of the truck Install special electrical options Confers with Engineers, Quality Technicians, and others regarding testing procedures and results to resolve issues. Ability to train / instruct team members on assembly procedures Aligns and meshes gears in gearbox to assemble system of gears Other duties as assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS


Requires the use of simple arithmetic and some measuring instruments such as caliper, scale, and mechanical experience.  Ability to use basic pneumatic hand tools, pedestal grinder, electrical test equipment, wiring, metal and plastics, and crimping tools.  High school diploma or equivalent and previous heavy manufacturing or assembly experience required.

Candidate must be skilled in at least twelve (12) of the Electrical Assembler skills matrix quadrants.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

High school diploma or GED required.
