The 19A Specialist – Driver Compliance plays a mission-critical role in ensuring driver qualification, regulatory adherence, and operational safety. This position serves as a certified NYS 19A Examiner and is responsible for overseeing driver compliance, training, testing, and regulatory documentation at the location level.
This role partners closely with management, drivers, and internal departments to ensure full compliance with NYS DMV, SED, and NYC DOE requirements while supporting safe, efficient transportation operations.
Position Overview
The 19A Specialist – Driver Compliance leads all driver qualification and regulatory compliance functions for the location. In addition to core administrative responsibilities, this role ensures 100% driver compliance with all state and local requirements, administers required training and testing, and supports audits, inspections, and safety initiatives.
