What is the opportunity?
The Brand & Citizenship team is responsible for the overall brand and citizenship strategies for the brands used by Wealth Management Europe (WME), the execution of all work designed to amplify or protect the brands in Europe, and to show that RBC is an ideas-led and purposed-driven organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity to join our Brand and Citizenship team on a 12-month fixed term contract and will be responsible for the management and delivery of all sponsorship initiatives and events to support the RBC WM Europe brand.
A key focus of this role is to curate, create and manage enhanced client experiences and unique, targeted events to maximise brand value.
RBC’s expectation is that all employees and contractors will work in the office with some flexibility to work up to 1 day per week remotely, depending on working arrangements.
What will you do?
Be responsible for creating and maintaining meaningful partnerships that enhance the company's brand visibility, engage target audiences, and contribute to overall business success.
Execute and evaluate sponsorship strategies and partnerships for WME, and support with marketing, relationship management, strategic planning and financial analysis.
Collaborate with other departments and external partners to maximise the benefits of sponsorships, such as increased brand visibility, customer engagement, and revenue generation.
Manage and activate all WM Europe sponsorship rights and associated activities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential sponsorship partners.
Work closely with sponsorship partners to ensure their needs are met and that sponsorships are effectively executed.
Manage budgets for sponsorship initiatives, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
Oversee the planning and execution of sponsored events, including logistical coordination, promotion, and on-site management.
Communicate sponsorship initiatives and progress to internal stakeholders, senior management, marketing teams, and other relevant departments.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Exceptional organisational skills and able to work independently.
High standard of written and spoken English, with good numerical skills.
Budget Management experience.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Able to multi-task when needed and respond to revised priority setting.
Advanced working knowledge of the Microsoft365 suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc.).
Track record of managing in a complex environment.
Process and project management.
Nice-to-have
Experience engaging with senior stakeholders to align marketing plans with corporate and business area strategy, providing expert advice and guidance on Marketing strategy and delivery.
Strong commercial acumen and interest in the business of business.
Demonstrated ability to take a brief and translate into clear outcomes.
