Part Time, 12 Hour, Third ShiftJob Description:
Complete/document assessments and changes.
Update care plans each shift with measurable goals.
Evaluate interventions and patient responses.
Develop education and discharge plans.
Communicate status and ensure accurate documentation.
Deliver care per policy and physician orders.
Implement care and education plans.
Perform procedures and handle emergencies.
Assist staff, direct activities, and monitor compliance.
Facilitate patient flow.
Delegate tasks appropriately.
Act in emergent situations.
Use SBAR/ARCC for communication.
Identify and address care needs promptly.
Promote safety and attention to detail.
Lead and promote teamwork.
Set priorities, organize workload.
Provide accurate reports and delegate tasks.
Act as a role model and resource.
Support orientation and professional growth.
Requirements:
Current RN licensure or work permit in Kentucky.
Bachelor's or an associate degree in nursing from an accredited college/university.
ACLS/PALS/NRP and successful completion of dysrhythmia class as required by department of assignment.
Basic Life Support is required. New employees requiring CPR-Basic Life Support (BLS)-American Heart Association should receive (CPR) training within the first week of orientation
