What You'll Be Doing
- Perform general quarry utility tasks, including equipment cleanup and material handling.
- Assist with the safe operation and maintenance of quarry machinery.
- Support production activities by monitoring material flow and reporting issues promptly.
- Follow all safety procedures to maintain a hazard‑free work area.
- Collaborate with team members to complete daily operational tasks efficiently.
What We Are Looking For
- Ability to work safely and follow established procedures in an industrial environment.
- Comfort operating or learning to operate heavy equipment and hand tools.
- Strong attention to detail with the capability to identify and report maintenance needs.
- Reliability, teamwork, and willingness to take initiative.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
Conditions of Employment
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
