Position Summary
Role and Responsibilities
Keep our systems running — and our innovation unstoppable.
At Samsung, technology never stands still — and neither do we. To keep one of the world’s most innovative companies operating at its best, we rely on a strong IT infrastructure and people who know how to protect and optimize it.
We’re looking for an IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist who will take ownership of our local IT systems, networks, and security operations. You’ll be the go-to person ensuring everything runs smoothly — from server rooms and VPNs to user access, firewalls, and hardware lifecycle management.
This is a hands-on role for someone who loves solving complex technical challenges and enjoys both the big picture and the details.
🧩 What you’ll do
Manage and maintain the Samsung CZ/SK network infrastructure, including servers, server rooms, and IT systems
Take end-to-end ownership of infrastructure projects — from planning to deployment (networking, server zone implementation, VDI, VM systems, etc.)
Oversee hardware and IT asset management (EOL, replacements, budgeting, procurement, CCTV, and vendor coordination)
Ensure IT security compliance: audits, incident reporting, policy enforcement, spam drills, and NIS2 project implementation
Handle daily troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues — finding root causes and delivering reliable fixes
Administer and support multiple key systems and tools (Active Directory, VPN, O365, Zscaler, Knox, Sentinel, Nasca, Escort, Firewalls, and more)
Manage user access rights across portals and systems; maintain data accuracy and compliance
Support internal users and coordinate with HQ on IT and security matters
Lead continuous improvement initiatives across IT processes and automation
Skills and Qualifications
👤 What you bring
Proven experience in IT infrastructure, networking, and security management
Strong knowledge of Windows servers, network systems, VPNs, and firewalls
Hands-on experience with system administration, troubleshooting, and access management

Solid understanding of IT security standards and audits (e.g. NIS2)
A self-driven, proactive mindset — you like ownership and getting things done end to end
Great communication skills in Czech and English
