POSITION OBJECTIVES
Role Summary:
This role is responsible for providing support to Operational leaders in relation to Workforce Management including Rostering, Time and Attendance, External agency usage and Workforce planning. This role will build capability in Operational leaders to support a consistent and positive people experience and by extension a positive family experience.
KEY
RESPONSIBILITIES- Building positive relationships with Service Managers and Area Directors
- Provide support in creating schedules that meet operational requirements and maximize efficiency
- Provide focused support to services that require improvement
- Support the strategic objectives of the business regarding roster management, time and absence and agency usage
- Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders on strategic objectives.
- Partner with Service managers and P&C to establish equitable distribution of the rostered work and adherence to contracted hours
- Identify patterns of behaviors through weekly auditing of schedules and time worked
- Support services managers to identify gaps in recruitment, future planning and create new positions/ job requisitions in workday
- Monitor and support cyclical activities such as Holiday Planning and transition statements
- Manage Agency requests, review and approve/decline in accordance with defined process
- Hold regular meetings with Area Director to review performance in the workforce planning space and provide support to impact change.

SPECIALIST SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Essential Requirements:
- 3+ years’ experience in an operational support function
- Experience in Roster and Workforce management or proven ability to acquire knowledge
- Knowledge of the state regulations or ability to acquire knowledge
- Knowledge of the fair work award requirements or ability to acquire knowledge
- Proficiency in the CCMS software system is desirable
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge in the Microsoft Suite
- Highly organised with proven experience juggling a wide range of demands and priorities to produce work of high quality and consistently meet deadlines
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and customer service skills - both written and verbal with the ability to handle difficult conversations
- Current Working with Children's Check
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with management at every level
- Sound ability to work with systems and technology
- Demonstrable experience in driving improvements to support business

- Office duties - requiring sitting at a workstation on an adjustable office chair, general office-based work, using a computer.
- Work Monday – Friday - 7.6 Hours per day, start and end times may vary considering business need
