Position Purpose: The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for driving revenue growth and managing designated wholesale accounts. This role emphasizes building long-term partnerships, achieving sales goals, and supporting merchandising strategies. The AE acts as a strategic advisor, using data and market insights to grow the business while maintaining alignment with the L.L.Bean brand. Through a deep understanding of partner needs and L.L.Bean’s product line, will help guide the assortment, ordering and in-season reaction processes. They will collaborate closely with internal teams and external clients, ensuring high levels of service and continuous improvement. The AE works under the guidance of a Senior or Account Manager.

Years of Experience: 3+ years
Tools & Systems
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and NuOrder for reporting, planning, and presentation needs.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3+ years of previous account executive experience in the apparel/outdoor market.
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with customers to develop strong long-term relationships.
Strong understanding of retail math and sales planning.
Ability to work cross functionally and foster strong relationships.
Excellent analytical skills
Must be computer proficient including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must have the ability to travel ~25% of time based on business and account needs.
