AltaGas - Infrastructure and Cyber Business Analyst

We are seeking a strategic and analytical Infrastructure and Cyber Business Analyst with deep expertise in AI-driven insights and data analytics to support our digital transformation initiatives. This role bridges the gap between technology and business, focusing on optimizing infrastructure, enhancing cybersecurity posture, and leveraging data to drive intelligent decision-making.


You will:

  • Analyze current infrastructure and cybersecurity frameworks to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for AI integration.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop business cases for infrastructure upgrades, cybersecurity enhancements, and AI/data analytics initiatives.
  • Utilize AI tools and data analytics platforms to uncover trends, risks, and performance metrics across infrastructure and security systems.
  • Design and implement dashboards and reports that provide actionable insights to technical and business teams.
  • Support predictive modeling and anomaly detection for threat intelligence and system performance.
  • Work closely with cybersecurity teams to assess risk, compliance, and threat landscapes.
  • Analyze network, cloud, and system architecture to ensure resilience and scalability.
  • Recommend and support implementation of security controls, monitoring tools, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Lead or support cross-functional projects involving IT, data science, and cybersecurity teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions.

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business analysis within IT infrastructure and cybersecurity domains.
  • Strong proficiency in data analytics tools ( Power BI, Tableau, Python, SQL).
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application in cybersecurity and infrastructure.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
  • Certifications in AI, Data Science, or Cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM).
  • Experience with AI-driven security platforms (e.g., SIEM, SOAR).
  • Understanding of DevOps, automation, and infrastructure-as-code.

Compensation:

We offer a competitive salary range of $82,000 - $118,750 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
