The Opportunity
We currently have an opportunity available for a Wellbeing Team Manager to join our broader Shared Value and Wellbeing team in either Melbourne or Sydney. As a Wellbeing Team Manager you will seek to drive the end-to-end health and wellbeing solutions for our customers and partners. Reporting to the Head of Wellbeing, you will take a data driven portfolio management approach to develop the wellbeing strategies at AIA for our partners. This will be done by ensuring appropriate outcome metrics to demonstrate the impact of our wellbeing services.

 To do this successfully you will:

  • Lead all aspects of the allocated business unit or partner, maintain key relationships and develop the strategy for wellbeing services

  • Lead, mentor and provide technical support to a team of Rehabilitation Consultants to achieve desired wellbeing rehabilitation outcomes

  • Drive collaboration across the broader team and with other key collaborators including Risk and Compliance, Legal, Underwriting, Products and our partners

  • Ensure both effective and efficient assessment and management of cases within the Practice Rehabilitation Framework

  • Be accountable for the team’s workflow and quality to ensure results focused outcomes are achieved

  • Offer training and development and new rehab and wellbeing initiatives for claims and aligned business channels

  • Act as the lead for tenders, presentations and reporting and provide support and training to team members within this area as required

  • Report on outcomes for dedicated line of business / partner and deliver on reporting requirements for internal purposes and partners

  • Utilise data to find opportunities and innovate ways with the aligned business unit to implement wellbeing initiatives.

Successful applications will demonstrate:

  • Qualification in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Rehabilitation Counsellor or Similar

  • A sound understanding of AIA Embrace ecosystem

  • Experience working within a rehabilitation provider, clinical and claims environment

  • Having a proven understanding of and experience applying IP RTW, Milestone and TPD; legislation and policy

  • Leadership skills and a genuine desire to engage, develop and mentor our Wellbeing / Rehabilitation Consultants

  • A commercial understanding of the insurance environment, in particular the life insurance environment

  • A high level of personal integrity and credibility, including the ability to maintain confidentiality

  • Strong skills inCase Track, Rehab Data Extract and Rehab Dashboards
