Key Responsibilities
Perform TIG welding in all positions on stainless steel including square tubing, flat bar, pipe, angle, and solid round.
Learn and execute welding of stainless steel sanitary tubing using proper gas purge setups.
Assemble, fit, and weld stainless steel components accurately from shop drawings.
Operate shop equipment such as saws, forklifts, presses, bead blasters, grinders, deburring tools, and measuring tools.
Follow directions from the Shop Supervisor to complete projects on schedule.
Work overtime as required.
Requirements
Experience with TIG welding stainless steel in multiple positions.
Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
Willingness to learn sanitary welding practices.
Must have own welding PPE (helmet, gloves, jacket).
Ability to pass a welding test (administered by Lead Welder and Production Supervisor).
Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced shop environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Certificate or degree in welding or related field.
Previous experience welding sanitary stainless steel assemblies.
Experience operating forklifts and other shop equipment.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $42,800.00 and $71,400.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
