Key Responsibilities

• Perform TIG welding in all positions on stainless steel including square tubing, flat bar, pipe, angle, and solid round.

• Learn and execute welding of stainless steel sanitary tubing using proper gas purge setups.

• Assemble, fit, and weld stainless steel components accurately from shop drawings.

• Operate shop equipment such as saws, forklifts, presses, bead blasters, grinders, deburring tools, and measuring tools.

• Follow directions from the Shop Supervisor to complete projects on schedule.

• Work overtime as required.

Requirements

• Experience with TIG welding stainless steel in multiple positions.

• Ability to read and interpret shop drawings.

• Willingness to learn sanitary welding practices.

• Must have own welding PPE (helmet, gloves, jacket).

• Ability to pass a welding test (administered by Lead Welder and Production Supervisor).

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certificate or degree in welding or related field.

• Previous experience welding sanitary stainless steel assemblies.

• Experience operating forklifts and other shop equipment.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $42,800.00 and $71,400.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
