The Boeing CompanyBoeing Test and Evaluation (BT&E) is looking for a Weapons Test & Evaluation Engineer to join our team in St. Charles, MO.
Our team is currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Entry-Level, Associate and Mid-Level Weapons Test & Evaluation Engineers.
Position Responsibilities:
Act as a flight test engineer (FTE) and test conductor on a variety of weapons programs (JDAM, SDB, GLSDB, MOP, B-61, Harpoon, SLAM-ER, etc.)
Work with Boeing, Government, and other Military Contractors to define and document test requirements and test procedures that will meet test objectives while ensuring safety, quality, and test efficiency
Support weapon assembly, software loading, and functional checkouts of weapons
Manage and verify configuration of weapon hardware and software under test
Support weapons and flight termination system checks to verify system health prior to test
Support the execution of the test program, including builds, ground testing, environmental quantification, safe separation, carrier suitability, captive carriage, guided release, etc.
Travel to various domestic and international test ranges, sometimes with limited advance notice, in support of dynamic flight test schedules
Coordinate with flight test and range personnel to develop, update, maintain, and configuration control real-time displays needed for making real-time flight test conduct decisions
Facilitate test planning meetings, test readiness reviews, pre-travel briefings, test document reviews, and post-test reporting documentation
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
Willing to travel domestically and internationally as needed
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Level 2: 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Level 3: 3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Summary Pay Range for Entry-level (Level 1): $71, 400 - 96,600
Summary Pay Range for Associate level (Level 2): $83,300 - $112,700
Summary Pay Range for Mid-level (Level 3): $98,600 - $133,400
