Job Description:

Reporting directly to the Manager Client Reporting, this role is accountable for operational support and dedicated subject matter expertise on fees contributes to the maturation of a fees centre of excellence through administering the quarterly executive Fees Forum meeting as well as owning the fees inventory, controls matrices and annual administration fee invoicing program.

Job Accountabilities

  • Support the ongoing fees accuracy testing as well as contribute to the evolution of the fees accuracy testing program, evaluate impact of testing results on fees reporting, and determine the appropriate analytics needed to improve the process
  • Oversee the administration of fees processes (annual administration and quarterly manual fees) for DI, FP and PIA as well as the Small Business Investment Trust (SBIT) fees invoicing, providing oversight and direction
  • Lead the periodic review of Wealth Product Fees Matrix (i.e. the fees inventory) to ensure completeness and accuracy
  • Develop and oversee detailed documentation to consolidate identified issues and hold stakeholders accountable for timely resolution
  • Effectively engage partners across Wealth to identify and assess the implications of fee-related issues and new/changed product proposals
  • Proactively evaluate risk exposures and opportunities for improvement through active challenge, tracking and analysis of incidents and metrics, executing centralized protocols for issues management and escalation to reduce potential impact to clients
  • Support Wealth Operations on projects/initiatives that involve and/or impact fees and provide comprehensive and robust assessment of impact, requirements, expected outcomes, timely issue escalation and progress updates
  • Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes and sound infrastructure to achieve a strategic balance of risk and return
  • Demonstrate TD's leadership principles consistently and promote adoption amongst peers
  • Promote and support a positive work environment that encourages productivity, innovation, teamwork and professionalism in a time sensitive and deadline-based environment
  • Set and maintain a high level of client service and productivity
  • Provide deep subject matter expertise as a key resource for fees policies and procedures, leveraging effective reporting production to influence leadership decisions

  • Strong working knowledge Microsoft Office applications, including advanced knowledge of Excel

Educational Requirements/Accreditations:

  • Undergraduate or Post Graduate degree in Business/Commerce, Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years of experience in Wealth Management, Operations, Compliance, Governance & Control, Risk or related areas
  • Strong knowledge of Wealth Management, governance and control and/or risk management is an asset
