RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inventory Management – Physical counts, system balancing, raw material balancing and raw material ordering, month end duties
  • Forklift operations – Line pull.  Recording and putting product away in the warehouse
  • Forklift operations – Load and unload package products
    25kg line operations – Understand the SOPs, be able to demonstrate the safety functions of the line and how to operate it.
  • BB line operations – Understand the SOPs, be able to demonstrate the safety functions of the line and how to operate it.
  • Biolys Dry Bulk Truck/Rail loading – Understand the SOPs, be able to demonstrate the safety functions in the area and how to load and unload the truck/Rail.
  • Biolys Liquid Truck/Rail loading and unloading – Understand the SOPs, be able to demonstrate the safety functions in the area and how to load and unload the truck/rail.
  • Veramaris Oil – ISO / Truck loading – Understand the SOPs, be able to demonstrate the safety functions in the area and how to load and unload the truck.
  • Veramaris Veraferm – Rail loading – Understand the SOPs, be able to demonstrate the safety functions in the area and how to load and unload the rail.
  • Damage and Non-Conforming product handling – Understanding how to label and reprocess damage product
  • Sanitation – Understanding Evonik Feed Safety program. Responsible for the daily safety, cleaning, and hygiene conditions of the area. 
  • ESHQ – Following Evonik Safety, Quality and Environmental policies.
  • Understanding how and when to report incident. 
  • Be complainant with the ISO 9001, RC 14001, FAMI-Qs, HACCP and FSMA
  • General Shutdown duties – support Granulation during shutdown.


REQUIREMENTS

  • New Operator (Limited to 1 or 2 areas) minimal experience level

  • High School Diploma/GED

  • OSHA 10 certified

  • Forklift / Rail King Certified

  • Has a basic understanding of how to load and unload finished product / raw materials

  • Can document and complete the proper documentation required for the task

  • Has a general understanding of Evonik’s procedures and can execute

  • Displays good attention to detail when completing work

  • A self-starter, able to perform with minimal supervision once trained in area

  • Able to prioritize assigned workload effectively.

  • Understands ESHQ (Safety & Quality) practices and policies as they pertain to the area

  • Understanding of scheduling and how operations impact it
