Syntese is a part of the Ferring Pharmaceuticals global matrix. We are renowned worldwide for our reliable production of high-quality Mesalazine, an Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) used in treating inflammatory bowel diseases.

At our manufacturing site in Hvidovre, you will join the Operations division, overseeing and supporting the work and professional development of 6 highly independent and skilled warehouse team members. You will become part of the Operations leadership team, and the site ELT team, reporting directly to the Head of Operations.  

Your day at Ferring
As Warehouse Team Lead at Syntese, you will be in charge of the planning and scheduling, ensuring sufficient coverage of our 5 primary areas: Warehouse floor, sampling, sales/production, tank goods/miscellaneous, and purchasing/procurement.

Additionally, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Problem solving, sparring and support, both within the team, internally in the Syntese organization, and with external suppliers.
• Participating in review meetings in Production, identifying and mitigating gaps/risks, and ensuring daily/weekly alignment between the two areas.
• Managing employee lifecycle activities, including but not limited to; recruitment, training, onboarding, development conversations and annual performance review.
• Aligning with the Operations leadership team on strategic objectives.
• Coordinating the handling of deviations and CAPAs with the Compliance and  Support department.

In general, your daily work will be performed on-site in Hvidovre at the warehouse office. While the work is primarily of an administrative and team management character, upwards of 20% hand-on support is to be expected.

• Strong warehouse experience, ability to lead by example - and passion for managing a team.
• Familiarity with working under GMP regulation, or other regulated environments, e.g. ISO.
• SAP knowledge.
• Ability to communicate respectfully and confidently in English and Danish.
