Job Duties:
· Hire, train and manage assigned warehouse personnel
· Manage warehouse in all aspects including customer service, accuracy and productivity
· Oversee warehouse scheduling to ensure timely delivery of product
· Coordinate all safety activities for Warehouse staff
· Interface with customers solving discrepancies, problems and creating a cohesive relationship
· Foster and maintain a collaborative relationship with the sales, delivery and customer service departments.
· Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
· Complies with federal, state, and local warehousing, material handling, and shipping requirements by studying existing and new legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
· Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
· Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
· Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
· Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
· Maintains warehouse staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
· Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
· Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Job Requirements:
· Bachelor's Degree
· 3+ years of previous management experience in warehouse/distribution environment
· 3+ years of experience in delivery operations
· Experience and knowledge with applicable federal regulations pertaining to the company's business operations including OSHA and DOT regulations.
· Strong computer skills. Previous JD Edwards/ WMS experience preferred.
· Strong organizational skills, versatility, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
· Excellent communication skills.
· Ability to work as a team member.
· Must be flexible to work multiple shifts.
· Skills & Abilities

· Years of Experience
o 5+ years management experience in warehouse/distribution environment.
o Previous WMS experience preferred (High Jump a plus).
o Experience and knowledge with applicable federal regulations pertaining to the company's business operations including OSHA and DOT regulations.
o Experience developing and understanding analytical analysis of the procedures of the warehousing and distribution activities.
o Must be flexible to work multiple shifts.
