The Vice President of Strategy and Business Development partners closely with senior leaders to shape, analyze, and implement strategies that drive long-term organizational impact. This role works cross-functionally with stakeholders to develop cases, conduct market research, oversee strategic projects, and support partnership and investment activities. The position is ideal for individuals who excel in problem solving, value creation, and stakeholder engagement, and enjoy translating strategy into results.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support the development and implementation of division -level strategic plans by synthesizing market intelligence, competitive insights, client needs, and business trends.
  • Partner with functional leaders to synthesize strategic recommendations and create materials to communicate strategic priorities and progress.
  • Identify and evaluate opportunities to expand the division’s services, footprint, and client relationships, including new offerings and markets.
  • Drive the implementation and delivery of key strategic and transformation initiatives, partnering with project sponsors and cross-functional teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
  • Monitor progress of initiatives against objectives and key results, identifying risks and developing actionable recommendations for course correction.
  • Develop and deliver clear, data-driven updates and materials for executive leadership and steering committees.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, facilitating alignment around strategic goals and transformations.
  • Develop contingency plans for major strategic initiatives.
  • Build organizational capability around strategic planning, market analysis, or transformation methodologies.
  • Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs), ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Lead or contribute to initiatives; stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred)
  • 8-12 years of experience in strategy, business development, management consulting, investment banking, or a related discipline, preferably within financial services, technology, or fintech
  • Proven expertise in hypothesis-driven problem solving, financial modeling, market analysis, and competitive benchmarking
  • Exceptional skills in executive-level communication and structuring complex presentations for diverse audiences
  • Strategic thinker with ability to synthesize complex information and make data-driven recommendations
  • Experience supporting or executing M&A transactions (due diligence, target screening, business case analysis) preferred
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, build relationships, and drive results through influence.
  • Self-starter, comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $250,000 - $300,000.

Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
