Location: Across New Vision Bradford sites (BD1 5BA & BD1 3DN)
Working Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £25,110 - £32,090 per annum

About the Role

New Vision Bradford is a service led by Waythrough with partners Project 6, The Bridge Project and Create Strength Group who have been working and supporting people across the district for many years. The service is commissioned by Bradford Metropolitan District Council and the NHS West Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (through the Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership) to provide drug and alcohol treatment and recovery support across the Bradford District. This includes harm reduction, care coordination, clinical and psychosocial therapeutic interventions.  

Within the Volunteering directorate, the Volunteer Coordinator will coordinate the day-to-day functioning and performance within the New Vision Bradford service. 

What You’ll Do

  • To coordinate the day-to-day functioning and performance of volunteering within the New Vision Bradford service.  
  • To create and maintain an active and visible volunteer workforce across the service through identifying vacancies, recruitment, induction and ongoing support and training.  
  • To support and guide volunteer supervision across the service. 

To Succeed in This Role, You’ll Need:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programmes. 
  • Experience of carrying out risk assessments and wellbeing / support plans. 
  • Experience of writing and delivering training. 
  • Experience of working or volunteering with young people / young adults. 
  • Highly developed organisational and time management skills.
