The Airspace Customer Definition Centre (CDC) in Hamburg is a world-class location where airlines and leasing companies can explore any conceivable cabin interior option for their new Airbus aircraft.
Definition VIE
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function. We are looking for highly motivated graduates aged 18 to 28 years, who are citizens of the European Union (all E.U. nationals, plus Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein). Your tasks and responsibilities
Your main role will consist in supporting the Customer Definition Centre leadership team to put in place a robust project management structure to ensure that the CDC mission and key strategic initiatives are being implemented and making progress.
You will facilitate the exercise of dividing long-term goals into smaller, manageable actions, help develop action plans and put in place the tools and governance necessary to monitor the achievement of our vision. In this context you will lead and/or support some of the projects by yourself.
Further you will act as Customer Service manager for a small Airline portfolio, in order to gain practical experience on the CDC daily work. In this role you will act as CDC entry point for the organisation of the cabin definition meeting for specific aircrafts, working together with the airline, the involved Airbus colleagues and external Cabin product suppliers.
Desired skills and qualifications
University degree in the area of project management, industrial engineering, business administration or an equivalent field of study.
Project management and presentation skills
Solution oriented, organized, curious
Customer service and customer oriented
Ability to work with a team made of a wide range of skills and characters
Fluent in English, German is a plus
