We are seeking a Verification & Validation (V&V) Engineer who thrives at the intersection of engineering rigour and innovation. In this role, you won’t just execute V&V activities—you’ll reimagine how they’re done, applying artificial intelligence and automation to transform processes, reduce complexity, and unlock new levels of efficiency and insight.
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of product verification in a regulated environment—ensuring safety and compliance while also driving smarter, faster, and more adaptive workflows. If you’re excited by the challenge of modernising traditional engineering practices, improving patient outcomes and create meaningful impact, this is the role for you.
Be a Change Agent: Embed a growth mindset in everything you do. Driving improved compliance, scalability, and overall V&V effectiveness.
Collaborate Across Functions: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate tools that improve efficiency and knowledge sharing.
Support Intelligent Decision-Making: Generate insights through data to inform prioritisation and highlight potential issues.
Contribute to Process and Continuous Improvements: Support initiatives that streamline V&V activities, reducing manual effort, improve accuracy, compliance and effectiveness.
Use AI in V&V Workflows: Apply AI tools within existing verification and validation processes to improve test coverage, defect detection, and requirements traceability.
Utilise Data & Automation: Apply automation and data-driven methods to improve traceability, risk analysis, and documentation quality.
Maintain Documentation: Prepare and update V&V records, test evidence, and supporting materials for regulatory compliance.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Science.
3–5 years of experience in Verification & Validation, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline in a regulated industry.
Practical exposure to AI applications in engineering workflows, such as predictive analytics, data classification, or workflow automation.
Familiarity with requirements management tools (e.g. DOORS, Jama, Jira) and data science environments (e.g., Python, MATLAB, Jupyter).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to clearly present findings.
Preferred:
Experience in medical devices or another regulated industry.
Experience with AI usage in regulatory or quality contexts (e.g., automated reporting, AI-assisted test coverage).
