Vendor Performance Analyst

Job Description:

AssetMark’s Operations and Service strategy is focused on creating loyal advisors by delivering enhanced capability, reliability, speed, and deep relationships.  To achieve aggressive growth targets, we must develop scale while continuing to strengthen our service delivery.  AssetMark will partner with various financial, operational and technology firms to deliver the capabilities and productivity required to serve its customers competitively.  The Vendor Analyst will support managing existing strategic operating relationships including managing capabilities, performance, results, and operating scale.  

We can consider candidates for this position who are able to accommodate a hybrid work schedule and are close to our office location in Phoenix, AZ.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily oversight and secondary review on execution of key vendor tasks including business process optimization activities

  • Manage a set of key strategic vendor relationships to meet the strategic objectives for each program and develop future capabilities

  • Partner with suppliers to drive process standardization, cost efficiencies, and service level performance

  • Serve as the single point of contact for processing escalations from subject vendors

  • Track costs, customer communications, and customer experiences for each strategic vendor relationship

  • Execute regular audits and reviews on a periodic basis to ensure vendors are meeting key performance standards including SLAs, accuracy, issue resolution, and timely responses.

  • Track key metrics for supplier scorecards and report on trends, productivity and corrective actions, and new initiatives.

  • Recommend actions to maximize process effectiveness based on regular process and performance analysis. 

  • Engage with Business Partners on improving processes, updating procedures, identifying defect trends, reducing not in good order (NIGO) items, and improving overall accuracy.

  • Work closely with Platinum and Gold Service leaders to ensure the operations experience for these Advisors is creating and driving strong NPS (loyalty) scores.

Location:

Phoenix, AZ (hybrid in-office 3 days a week on T/W/Th)

Compensation:

The total compensation for this role includes Base Salary plus a variable incentive compensation target (“VIC”), as detailed below.

  • The Base Salary range for candidates is $60,000-$70,000

  • Annualized VIC of 10% (10% of annual salary)

The actual payment of the VIC is not guaranteed and will be based on performance to clearly stated goals and manager discretion. This information also reflects a base salary range that AssetMark reasonably expects to pay for the position based on a number of factors which may include job-related knowledge, skills, education, experience, and actual work location.
