As a Vaccine Account Executive – CVMD, you will play a pivotal role in driving access, adoption, and sustainable growth of GSK’s adult vaccines portfolio. You will engage healthcare professionals (HCPs), institutions, and key opinion leaders (KOLs) through scientifically grounded conversations, leveraging your in-depth understanding of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases to deliver value-based solutions that improve patient outcomes across Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Customer & Account Management
Develop and execute effective account plans for targeted hospitals, clinics, and specialist centres within the CVMD therapeutic area.
Build strong and enduring partnerships with cardiologists, endocrinologists, nephrologists, internal medicine physicians, and related allied health professionals.
Identify opportunities to expand GSK’s CVMD footprint and drive brand performance across assigned territories.
Scientific & Medical Engagement
Deliver high-quality scientific discussions based on the latest CVMD clinical guidelines, treatment algorithms, pathophysiology, and real-world evidence.
Ensure accurate, balanced, and compliant communication of GSK product benefits, safety profiles, and data.
Support medical education initiatives, advisory boards, and scientific meetings involving HCPs and KOLs.
Market & Stakeholder Intelligence
Maintain a deep and current understanding of the Malaysian CVMD landscape, including emerging research, competitive products, patient pathways, and health-system dynamics.
Leverage a strong existing network of CVMD specialists and KOLs across Malaysia to gain insights and shape access strategies.
Identify unmet medical needs and feedback to internal teams to inform brand, medical, and market access strategies.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Marketing, and Commercial Excellence teams to ensure aligned execution of CVMD strategies.
Contribute to internal training and share expert-level knowledge to elevate scientific capability within the broader team.
Support tender submissions, formulary listings, and institutional access initiatives where applicable.
Compliance & Governance
Uphold GSK’s standards of ethical promotion and compliance with relevant Malaysian regulations, codes of practice, and internal SOPs.
Ensure accurate recording and reporting of field activities, insights, and customer engagements.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Medicine, Nursing, Biotechnology, or related field.
Strong and up-to-date scientific and clinical knowledge in cardiovascular and metabolic disorders, including current treatment guidelines and disease-management pathways.
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales for CVMD products, with proven ability to build and maintain networks with CVMD specialists, multidisciplinary teams, and KOLs across Malaysia.
Excellent communication, scientific presentation, and relationship-management skills.
