Purpose of Role

As our UX Design Lead, you’ll play a key role in shaping the next generation of digital and AI-powered experiences for the industrial sector, turning complex processes into intuitive, impactful solutions used by customers worldwide. You’ll define our UX vision, build scalable design systems, and collaborate with product, engineering, and process leaders to harness AI in ways that make work smarter, safer, and more efficient.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Define and drive the UX vision, philosophy, and principles, ensuring consistent and human-cantered experience across digital solutions.
   

• Develop and evolve design systems, standards, and UX operations frameworks to enable scalable, high-quality design delivery.
   
• Collaborate with Product Management, Engineering, and Process Optimisation Leaders to align UX design with business goals and customer workflows.
   
• Create UX mock-ups, prototypes, and design assets that bring concepts to life and guide seamless implementation.
   
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviours in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.

 Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications
 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree on Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, or a related field, or equivalent relevant working experience.
   
• Experience in UX design experience, including leadership of complex, enterprise, or industrial design applications.
   
• Proven ability to define UX strategy and implement scalable design systems and UX operations frameworks.
   
• Experience designing industrial applications; Experience with the mining industry or similar environments is an advantage.
