The US International Senior Analyst takes a lead role in Business Planning, General Rate Increases (GRI), and Pricing. The Senior Analyst, plays a key role in developing, analyzing, implementing pricing, and business strategies that support volume, revenue growth, and long-term profitability. This role combines analytical rigor, business acumen, and strategic insight to influence decisions across products, markets, and customer segments. Additionally, the position focuses on business planning, forecasting, and the development of annual and ad hoc workstreams. The role requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure data-driven decisions that align with corporate strategy. The Senior Analyst partners closely with sales, marketing, finance, and product teams to ensure alignment with corporate strategy.

Responsibilities

Pricing Strategy & Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain pricing models and frameworks that reflect market dynamics, cost structures, and customer value.
  • Conduct margin and profitability analyses to identify pricing opportunities or risks.
  • Support the creation of dynamic pricing strategies based on demand, competition, and segmentation.

Business Planning & Forecasting

  • Support the annual business planning process by developing revenue forecasts, pricing assumptions, and strategic financial models.
  • Analyze market conditions, volume trends, and cost structures to inform planning decisions.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for senior leadership, highlighting key insights and recommendations.

General Rate Increase (GRI) Development

  • Lead or support the development and execution of annual General Rate Increases, including rate modeling, impact analysis, and implementation planning.
  • Conduct detailed profitability and elasticity analyses to evaluate rate effectiveness.
  • Partner with finance, sales, and operations teams to ensure GRIs align with company objectives and customer strategies.

Data & Market Insights:

  • Gather and analyze competitor pricing data, market trends, and customer behavior to inform recommendations.
  • Use statistical and financial modeling to forecast the impact of pricing changes.
  • Deliver actionable insights and dashboards to senior management.
  • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and evaluate post-implementation results of initiatives.
  • Builds and maintains management tools to analyze corporate forecast/planned volume and revenue trends, seasonality, trading day effects, and holiday impacts.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with sales and marketing to design promotional pricing and discount structures.
  • Work with finance to align pricing with revenue and profitability goals.
  • Work closely with product management, operations, and finance to align business plans and pricing strategies.
  • Support communication of pricing changes to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Support product management on new product pricing and lifecycle pricing adjustments.

Governance & Process Improvement:

  • Maintain pricing governance frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements in pricing tools, data management, and analytics workflows.
  • Automates processes where appropriate to increase process efficiency and accuracy

Qualifications

  • Experience with business planning and forecasting.
  • Experience with general rate increases (e.g., logistics, transportation)
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, SQL, Python/Anaconda, and analytics tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of pricing methodologies (value-based, cost-plus, competitive, dynamic pricing).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience with ERP or CRM systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Salesforce, Google Cloud) is desirable.
  • Bachelor's Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Business, Marketing, Economics, Finance, or a Technology related field
  • Master’s Degree (or internationally comparable degree) in Marketing, Business, Finance, or a Technology related field
