Job Description
Job Summary: This position will be supported through the NIDA K12 Mentored Clinical Scientists Development Program Award in Substance Use and Substance Use Disorder Research. This candidate will devote a minimum of 75% effort to research activities associated with the NIDA K12 grant and up to 25% effort may be spent in other research activities such as working as a co-investigator on other grants alongside main PI and investigators in the Addiction Science Division. They will also apply for other grants in their area of expertise. The specific area of research focus for this position will be cannabinoid neuropsychopharmacology.
The training program will provide a supportive environment and access to faculty who will provide expertise and guidance in research design, measurement techniques, study coordination, data management, biostatistical analysis, research dissemination, and grant writing. In addition to the specific project, the individual will work with other faculty in pursuing other research endeavors as a co-investigator, further extending the individuals background and experience.
Pay Salary Range: UNIV-Band 0: Commensurate with experience.
FLSA: Salaried
Minimum Requirements: Must hold a terminal degree such a Ph.D.
