Schedule Details/Additional Information:

4 days a week 11a-5pm.

Pay Range

$19.45 - $29.20

Scheduled Hours:  Part Time; Four days a week working 11:00 am to 5:00 pm; no weekends or holidays.

Education/Experience Required:

  • High school or equivalent
  • 1 year of clerical/secretarial experience

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:

  • Typing 35-50 words per minute preferred
  • Basic computer skills preferred--word processing, data entry

Major Responsibilities:

  • Performance of routine secretarial and clerical services in support of department activities. This may include:
    •     1)Greet and direct visitors.
    •     2)Order and maintain appropriate supplies for department.
    •     3)Schedule and arrange meetings and/or appointments.
    •     4)Answer phones and take messages or redirect calls appropriately.
    •     5)Open, sort, and route mail to the appropriate individuals.
    •     6)Simple data entry, transferring information to predefined spreadsheet.
  • Maintenance of department files and information, including metrics, monitoring and compliance
    •     1)Create and set up filing systems for department.
    •     2)Maintain records and files within the department which may include competency and licensure entry and verification to ensure compliance
    •     3)Track reported labor costs/indicators, including: turnover, overtime, agency usage and ADAPT reporting
    •     4)Track safety concerns utilizing the MIDAS reporting tool
  • Preparation and dissemination of correspondence.
    •     3)At the direction of the supervisor, compose routine letters and memoranda for review and approval by the supervisor.
    •     4)Take and transcribe dictation as needed. May use shorthand.
    •     2)Develop and prepare routine, repetitive department reports from given data. May prepare non-routine reports as directed by supervisor.
    •     1)Type letters, memoranda, reports and other types of correspondence from rough drafts or provided copy.
